Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009), the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011), the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was an CNN political contributor between 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and then became the governor of Iowa. Psaki was later appointed the press secretary's deputy in John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Between 2005 and the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned to politics in 2012 and was the press secretary for President Obama's 2012 campaign. [20] Psaki was named as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013. [20] The speculations that she would replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary when he left White House in the year 21 were fueled by her hiring at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as Carney's replacement on May 30, 2014. She returned to White House in 2015 to become the communications director. She remained with the Obama administration until the end of its term.
