Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Balm (born on November 24 in 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was a former politician, as well as a TV host on MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, and former cohost of The Hill’s Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball announced in May 2021 that they would be leaving the show to begin their own venture, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a co-host alongside Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News as well as programs like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball is adamant about her fascination with politics to her experience as a new mother in the 2008 primaries. She also watched the US presidential election from Jordan while she was working there. She was able see the effect it had on the citizens of Jordan and gained an appreciation of the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional District in 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 to July 2015, she hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle. In May of 2017, she created the People's House Project, a political action committee that works for Democratic causes.
